Achieving Your Vision

My name is Pat LaManna, friend and supporter of Moira Kelly (founder of the Children First Foundation). I am writing to share with you the chance to have “The Inspiring Trio” address your business group, conference or private function in the months ahead.

Ahmed and Emmanuel Kelly are two extraordinary young Australian Citizens. Born without hands or feet, they were adopted by Moira Kelly and brought to live in Australia from Iraq. Now in their late teens, both individuals have amazed Doctors and friends with their determination and personal triumphs and are well on the way to successfully achieving their ambitions in life.

Ahmed has earned two years of scholarship at Carey Grammar and has recently become a champion swimmer who will be representing Australia in the London Disabled Olympic Games. Emmanuel has a wonderful personality, a love of music and a beautiful voice. He wants to become a professional singer and songwriter, embracing all types of music.

Whilst not physically afflicted in the same way as Ahmed and Emmanuel, I have also overcome significant obstacles on the way to achieving my personal goals. As a poor immigrant at the age of 16, without education or knowledge of the English language, I have been blessed with a united family and over 50 years of success in business and community service projects. Along the way I have been recognised with the Order Of Australia Medal, every International Lions Club Award, a Papal Knighthood and Australian Senior Citizen Of The Year 2009 for community services.

Turning hardship into opportunities is our theme. We share our experiences in the hope that The Inspiring Trio will provide a unique and powerful motivation to people from all walks of life. Appreciating life and the challenges we all face along the way is our message to you.

Some talking, combined with some singing from Emmanuel will guarantee you, your family, friends and colleagues an entertaining, motivational and inspiring evening that you won’t forget in a hurry.
